Barry Sharp, Photographer - Solon, Iowa I grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa on the banks of the Mississippi River, watching the passing of trains, riverboats, and barges, which instilled the wanderlust at an early age. I have traveled extensively to 49 of the 50 United States, ironically leaving Delaware our first state as the last to cross off my list. International travel includes Canada, Mexico, and many parts of Western Europe. I have always been amazed at the great diversity of the United States and this has been my inspiration to attempt to capture it through my photography. I have extensive experience in shooting live performances, portraits, sports, events and enjoy the challenges associated with utilizing available lighting. My photography is 100% digital utilizing the Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D, Nikon D700 and D70 cameras, with Nikkor, Konica Minolta and Sigma lenses.
